    A big thanks to director, Carmen Falk, who visited our primary class this month, auditioning and casting our whole class in her trailer for the new "Saurus St" book series by wonderful local author Nick Falk.  It was all LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! for our excited students. The trailer features the ABC's Peter Gee and Academy Director, Sara Cooper, and will be available for viewing on the Random House website very soon!

Our students acting on CHANNEL NINE!

We love nothing more than seeing our students cast in film and TV!  You can view our primary class in this exciting trailer for the new Saurus Street book series by Tasmanian author, Nick Falk.  Share the youtube link to show your support for great Tassie talent:

Plus our massive congratulations go out to Career Course graduates Aidan Furst and Zoe Hawkins, who have been cast in the new CHANNEL NINE / Blue Rocket animation "Buzz Bumble" set to air later this year.  Zoe plays 'Enid the Wardrobe Moth' and Aidan, 'Willie the Wasp', alongside Academy director, Sara Cooper and an all Tasmanian cast in this exciting 52 x 12 minute series.  Buzz Bumble is to be broadcast in Australia on the Nine Network and sold worldwide through Bejuba Entertainment in L.A.  Plus Emalisa White was just cast as a lead this week in David Pyefinch's new film "Above it All'.  Great work everyone!

Neighbours ...and more!

Weekly Class students get the opportunity to perform for Jane Binning Casting at the completion of each term and our End of Year Ceremony is held at Village Cinemas.  This year we are aiming to get every student up on the big screen at our end of year event!

Do you have a child attending and want to know what they cover in class?  Are you interested in acting, but not sure where to start?  Like to know more about the industry, the Academy, how it all works?  Join us at one of our free monthly info sessions.  
Limited seating.  First in, best dressed (though we're sure you all look lovely).
First Saturday of every month: 12pm - 12:30pm  Please check our facebook page on the day to ensure the session is running.
