DULCIE BELCHER, BAILEY COWEN & KALVIN PITT...We love seeing our little ones on set, and this weekend the lovely Dulcie, Kalvin and Bailey lit up the screen for Claudia Holmes new short film. Billy The Kid.
The talented Grade 3/4 students succesfully auditioned at CSA for the roles and we look forward to seeing them all on the big screen at our End of Year Ceremony at Village Cinemas this December. Claudia said you were all so professional, even running your lines as soon as you arrived (on time!) on set! Well done everyone!!
ROB MANION...2010 Career Course student Rob Manion has been working hard all around the globe, successfully auditioning via a self test at CSA for an American stage show, as well as performing in the new Tasmanian webseries Noirhouse. ANGUS ANDERSON, BILLY CUTLER & BAILEY COWEN... The office of Andrew Wilkie visited CSA inviting our students to tell the stories of children in detention their age, in the powerful Youtube clip, "Say No To Children in Mandatory Detention". We love it when The Arts does it's most powerful work of increasing empathy in the world, and congratulate Angus, Bailey and Billy on their brave performances.
AND MANY MORE!...Congratulations also go to all our students who have been cast in TV commercials, interstate major TV projects, (which we can't talk about yet!) as well as volunteering their time to support independent film production as extras and even crewing on set. Our film industry is blossoming and you are a large part of it!
We will have more news and shots soon. In the meantime don't miss our new monthly actor/director workshops and make sure you book in now for Term 4 weekly classes - be seen on the big screen at our End of Year Ceremony at Village Cinemas!
