My twins, Isaac and Mitchell started 2 terms ago and are having a ball! Quite apart from 'learning the trade' they have developed confidence and are losing their fear of 'what everyone thinks'. It has been a great maturing process for them. As a mum I find dealing with Sara Cooper excellent and she has an amazing commitment to the youth. The boys have already been in a commercial and just shot their first short length film Rosedale. They are looking forward to lots more fun and learning!
If you're interested in acting or looking for a fun, interesting hobby, you should definitely try Cooper Screen Academy! Such a great experience led by a lovely, talented teacher! Sara Cooper is doing some amazing things for the Tasmanian film industry and its actors. Get involved!
These guys are awesome. Whether you want to make it as a star on the screen or just boost your confidence. Every lesson is fun & informative. I recommend it for everyone!
CSA helped me realise the possibilities of achieving a career in the film industry, even within Tasmania. Sara's skills and knowledge gave me the extra nudge to get me to where I am, plus connections and opportunities for the future.
Sara has not taught me to perform; she has taught me to breath, relax and take comfort in my own abilities. From her I have not only learnt the craft of acting, but the magic of self belief.
Sara has the rare ability to teach acting with the same incredible flair, skill and humour she performs with. She is perceptive and challenging but always warm. Sara was my first choice when I was hiring tutors as an artistic director.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far at CSA. The classes are run by skilled team of industry professionals in a supportive, welcoming and fun environment. Develop your skills and confidence while learning about the industry. No matter what level of skill or experience you have, CSA is a fantastic place to be!
As a parent, I've seen glimmers of confidence from my little one, but it's Sara and her incredible team at CSA who have enabled her to break down the walls of self consciousness and really shine. After her first class, she walked away exclaiming how at home she felt and ensured that I had booked her in for the whole year. It's about acting yes. But it's also about life skills.
Sara Cooper is fully dedicated to running an excellent drama school. She puts in 110% behind the scenes, and every student matters. I enrolled my (shy) daughter a few years ago to boost her confidence - she is still a shy person... But last year she sang in front of the whole school; confidently played two different lead roles in two casts of her School Shakespeare play. Thank you Sara
