2011 Graduation Night!

Ella_SilenceOur first ever end of year Graduation Ceremony for weekly and Career Course students was held on Tuesday 13th December at Village Cinemas, Hobart.  Students were seen on the big screen in the films Choosearide, The Silence of Whitewater, Dibs and the Mystate TV commercials.  The event was attended by special guests including the head of Screen Tasmania, Karena Slaninka, award winning film and TV director Michael James Rowland (Dance Academy, My Place, The Last Confessions of Alexander Pearce), and Alderman Bill Harvey, as well as  local casting agent Jane Binning  and directors Lucien Simon and Bec Thompson.   Industry feedback about the students’ performances was most positive and this promises to be a very exciting annual event, not only on CSA's, but Hobart’s calendar.

A huge thanks to Vanetta and the team at Village.

***A reminder 15th December is the last day to enrol or reenrol to secure your 10% discount for Term One Screen Acting Classes.  New students also receive a bonus “Intro to Screen Acting” Class on Feb 4th.  See website for details.
