CSA Director in ABC3's My Place

Academy Director Sara Cooper played the role of Annie Priestly, in the award winning children's TV series My Place.
Cooper says: "It was wonderful to fly to Sydney to record this scene, and especially lovely to have a Tasmanian in the series, given there were only two interstate actors employed on the show."
Michael James Rowland who directed the episode has since gone on to direct episodes of ABC's Dance Academy, and Spirited, and is currently shooting Tangle in Melbourne. Michael visited the Academy this summer and trained CSA students in a two day intensive on screen acting.
