Weekly Screen Acting Classes: 

Weekly screen acting classes are held at Goodwood Film Studios and are open to performers who have completed the CSA "Introduction to Screen Acting" Workshop, or who have appropriate screen acting training/experience. 

Students work from film and television scripts, plus television commercial scenarios, and improvised scenes.  Classes cover the basic technical elements of screen performance, language for working on set, and how to adjust your onstage presence for the camera.

In class performances are viewed via a live television feed.

CSA uploads class footage weekly to an online, password protected site.  This is a valuable learning tool for students to assess their improvement whilst at the Academy.

At the end of each term students prepare and perform a scene for local Casting Director, Jane Binning (Bettamilk TVC's, The Hunter).

Weekly Class students have gone on to be accepted into esteemed training institutions in London, Sydney, Melbourne and L.A.  View some of their work in film and TV here.

Toolkit Time!

The last two weeks of each term see classes join together to undertake physical comedy and performance training .  A fun, challenging and hilarious exploration of European Theatre styles including Clowning and Basle Mask, this work is extremely valuable in developing as a performer, and adds greatly to what students find they can bring to the screen.
